So another pre season friendly another defeat for Manchester United should David Moyes be worried going by what some of the clubs fans are saying on twitter,Facebook and football forums then yes. They are demanding a BIG BLOCKBUSTER signing i.e. Ronaldo, Bale, Fabregas but in reality the chances of signing any of them are slim one thing the fans should remember is how often did SAF sign a ready made star answer not very often. There is a reason the club handed there new manager a 6 year deal and this is to bring long term success and to rebuild the squad in the next 2 or 3 seasons to keep the club at the top where it belongs otherwise it would be a pointless appointment and Jose Mourinho would have been offered the job if the club wanted immediate short term success and to splash the cash. David Moyes is the perfect man for the job in my eyes he plans for the long term gives youth a chance and has an eye for a player at low cost. Yes the club could do with a few fresh faces but who is actually available that would improve the current squad Fabregas has pledged his future to Barcelona Bale is either staying at Spurs for one more year or is joining Real Madrid and depending on the outcome of that will determine if Ronaldo is available or not can anyone see Ronaldo and Bale in the same team I cant it will be a very expensive test to find out more than the price of a test tube burger that’s for sure how could they play together not just this if Madrid sign Bale for the money being quoted how would CR7 feel that his record transfer fee has been smashed and the fact that most of the attention will be on Bale and not him. Then there is the not so small matter of Wayne Rooney to sort out will he stay united insist he is not for sale but he has his heart set on a move to Chelsea would United sell to a title rival surely not look at what happened with RVP it could come back to haunt United although Rooney’s performances have dropped over the last 3 seasons maybe just maybe a move would reignite that flame inside him not only that this would look like a change of power in English football. So who is available that would improve the current squad Fellaini is exactly what the midfield needs more than a Fabregas or Modric a box to box ball winning powerhouse midfielder who is a threat in both boxes just look at how he bullied United’s midfield and defence last season with ease. Luiz Gustavo is another player who has been mad available and he like fellaini is what the heart of the midfield needs. The questions over the back four still remain Evra, Vidic and Rio are all the wrong side of 30 Leighton Baines would be an ideal and fantastic signing with his dead ball expertise and crossing ability im sure RVP, little pea and Rooney if he stays would relish being on the end of his crosses from the left. Fitness questions still hang over Vidic and Ferdinand could they possibly play a full season without old injuries coming back so a centre half would be a good signing as well. Let’s not forget that for the first time since fergie’s fledglings there is a group of youngsters who look the real deal Januzaj,Lingard, Powell and the Keane twins in 2 or 3years time could very well be important players regardless of what does or doesn’t happen it is sure to be one hell of ride for Moyes one which im sure he will relish
