Fantastic idea. Thanks for getting this up and running. I'm Miriti, based in DC and one of the co-whatevers of www.NutmegRadio.com. Born and bred in the U.S. with multiple stops in Africa, and several stops in Europe, South America, Asia, and the Emirates (the one in London). We generally focus global soccer culture, touching on anything tangentially related to soccer (discrimination, music, fashion, and the odd rant). We're approaching our first anniversary, so newer to this game than many of you. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. Twitter is nutmegradio

Good evening all, I'm Chris, behind the WordPress blog Obscure Music and Football (http://obscuremusicandfootball.com/). As the title suggests, it doesn't deal with football all the time but a good proportion of the pieces do. It does what it says on the tin, though, with the aim being to cover topics that rarely get covered in mainstream media. You can also find me on Twitter ( obscurefootball) I also write for In Bed With Maradona, too - where the main focus is on the political and cultural elements of football. I also support Sheffield Wednesday. This a great idea - thanks to Ian for setting it up.

Hello, I'm Matt. And I write for the Llandudno Jet Set - llandudnojetset.wordpress.com/We focus on Bangor City, Wales but we sometimes branch out into moaning about the state of things. I've been doing this for about 5 years now, when work and my hobby (transporting giant flags around the football grounds of Britain) allows.

Nice idea, Ian.
I'm Chris, I'm the editor of twofootedtackle.com and co-host (sort of) of the twofootedtackle Podcast. Also write weekly MLS columns for The Football Ramble and the Football Fairground, where I do some other stuff too.
Recently started blogging about Tooting & Mitcham because I'm an idiot.

Heh, Hi Rob. I'm Rob and I'm one of the writers here, and I used to have my own blog called anewhabit.blogspot.com but I haven't updated that since I came in board here at 200% I seemingly have a lot in common with Damon. We have a lot of love for the FA Cup - I started an FA Cup run in 2007, which ended up taking in the biggest shock in FA Cup history (Chasetown beating Port Vale) from the Port Vale end, but I had to give the run up as I switched jobs, moved to London, and had no weekends free for the third or fourth round. I've since moved back to the Midlands where I've lived most of my life. I also an Ipswich fan, I also declined to renew my last season ticket renewal about 4 years ago but I still go as regularly as I can. And it appears (having looked at his site) that I used to sit a few seats away from him Damon the North Stand. I'm also very pro the Supporters Trust movement, and for my sins, I am on the board of the Ipswich Town Trust. Rob

Hello everyone. I'm Nick, one half of fistedaway.wordpress.com. We do satirical news articles, with occasional character pieces and oddities. The site has been going for a little over 2 years now, having begun as a one-joke format called What Alan Shearer Knows About Football. We have at least doubled the number of jokes since then. I've done guest pieces for Run of Play and Futfanatico (though not as many as I should have given the amount Elliott has done for us!). I live in London, having escaped John Redwood's Wokingham, and for some long-forgotten reason I support Nottingham Forest. Twitter profile is twitter.com/fistedaway

Hiya, I'm Jason, founder/obsessive overseer of www.matchfitusa.com. The site is two years old now, and started out as a place for me to rant and rave about the unique state of soccer/football in the US. Since, it has become more of a MLS/US National Team-focused blog, with the occasional "Why are we here? What does it all mean?"-type rambling thrown in occaisionally. I've also done a bit of blogging for FourFourTwo.com, have a podcast called the American Soccer Show, and stick my nose into various places as people will have me. I'm on Twitter as well. twitter.com/mfusa Very much looking for to this (Thanks, Ian) as I'm slowly gearing up, in a manner I'll call glacial, for the move to Wordpress.

I'm Gary, as the username suggests, and I'm, er, a gun for hire, although, more consistently, I can be found co-hosting the twofootedtackle podcast (this is coming back soon, I promise) and generally writing on www.twofootedtackle.comI can also be found at a variety of other blogs, websites and magazines depending on who has lowered their standards on the particular day, and can also be heard on the radio and other podcasts from time to time. I'm an Exeter City fan and, more recently, Chris N and others have converted me to the joys of Napoli. I'll happily watch any non-league football though. In real life I do social media stuff for a national broadcaster. Twitter is @gafootbl and personal site is www.garyandrews.netWill write for food.

Hello Everyone, (great idea to set this up), my name is Trevor, I'm owner/founder of World Soccer Reader (http://www.worldsoccerreader.com). The site has been live for just over 3 years now, covering European(including smaller leagues like Turkey, Netherlands, Belgium), Major League Soccer/USMNT and Mexican soccer predominantly. I've developed 10 audio podcast shows and we've got several more in the oven. Originally from NYC, spent the last 4 years living in Boston working in the music industry. Just returned to NY and am transitioning into a soccer/football-based career. I've been working with Wordpress since it's launch so I'd be happy to help anyone out if they have any WP related questions/problems. Look forward to chatting with the rest of you, feel free to follow me on twitter wsrtrevor

Just a quick note to welcome you all. I have to say, I am surprised by the amount of interest that there has been, but it makes it worthwhile to run with this. Strength through unity, or something.

Hi, I write the spanking new blog World Cup Human Rights: www.worldcuphumanrights.blogspot.comIt was born of dismay at the awarding of the 2022 World Cup to Qatar, and has been set up to monitor humans rights abuses in the next three World Cup host nations. In the long run, the idea is to mould a manifesto on how football might genuinely effect social change and make the world a better place by moving beyond FIFA's bland and self-serving quadrennial cliches about unity and healing. I also support a couple of shite teams and, more usefully I hope, have worked with blogger for a fair few years.

Good morning all. I'm Simon, and I run, write, edit and do pretty much everything on new Sunderland AFC blog, Roker Report - www.rokerreport.comWe only started in December, but in a shade over 1 month, have had vast success. Over 21k hits, and been asked to write for SAFC Fanzines, as well as being in the process of shifting over to SB Nation, where they only want the best of the best. Further details of that will be in due course. Pretty delighted with that, especially for someone with no writing experience/training whatsoever. Please, check us out! --->> www.rokerreport.com
