Hi Everyone! I'm Bartek and am from Poland but I study in the UK. I thought that with Euro 2012 around the corner some of you might get interested in Polish football and preparations to that tournament so I started a blog at www.polishfooty.com. I try to update it regularly with results and goals from the Polish league, reports on how Polish clubs are doing in the European cups (well... qualifiers thereof so far) and a countdown to Euro 2012. It would be great if you could have a look at it and let me know what you'd like to see on that blog or what you think. I also have a Twitter account for small updates and (hopefully) discussions about blog articles but I'm still pretty new so don't get discouraged when you see low numbers - twitter.com/pl_footy. Cheers Guys!

Evening all, I started to dip my toes into the waters of blogging last season as a decision not renew my Orient season ticket led me back to non league football after a gap of more than 15 years. I am also reigniting a passion for Mexican football as I studied there in the late 90s although I have let my knowledge get out of date in recent years. No fixed theme to the blog though that may change if I do something as proactive as find my voice! lastminuteconsolation.blogspot.com/I have also just started wandering round Twitter like a blithering idiot: twitter.com/El_Hugh_LMCCheers Hugh

I don't see why not - one of the aims is to help each other with the running of blogs in general.
Welcome.

Post by Linhem on Jan 27, 2012 17:59:03 GMT
Hi, i'm Linhem. I did visit this site when it was newly born but since i don't have my own blog (you could say i don't know either since it's a blog on someone elses site) until the past summer i decided to wait and then forgot about it. I'm a swede and blog about The Football League for "Fotbollskanalen"(The football channel, in english), in swedish. Fotbollskanalen is the football-only site that is ran by one of Swedens major television-companys(possible the biggest non-public service), who do broadcast Championship football which is the main reason why they keep me one. I suppose. My first post was one a former Fotbollskanalen blog runned by Guardian journo Marcus Christenson after the 09/10. Since i was barely 16 then comparisons to Wayne Rooney has been made (yes they have, yes they have!). I then started to write a weekly post about FL on the current blog on fotbollskanalen focusing on English football and after then i got my own blog - linhem.fotbollskanalen.se. I'm quite proud of being unbiased(i support Liverpool and my large Watford soft spot is pretty harmless) and writing a almost equal amount on every division. I've also once contributed to the excellent The 72 and i do write irregulary on a swedish blog(Fotbollsoraklet.se) when i feel the need to write something non-Football League related. I also intend in the not-that-near future to set up my own blog and then do the writing in english and probably not strictly FL. Maybe. One of the reasons is that i'm probably the only FL-only blog in sweden for a reason and the world it's a slightly bigger market. That is all. This forum thing you set up is a brilliant thing, just imagine that i said this and the things above half a year ago, at least.
